This causes the cervix to produce more mucus, which is thinner and clearer than usual, and this is called leukorrhea.

It is important to note that if a woman notices a sudden change in the color, odor, or consistency of her vaginal discharge, or if she experiences itching, burning, or redness in the vaginal area, it may be a sign of an infection such as yeast or bacterial vaginosis, and she should speak with her healthcare provider.
