Welcome to my Music Theory Tutorials. In this music theory lesson I continue to work through the ABRSM Grade 1 Past Paper S, 2017. I explain how to thoroughly read and answer each question, showing you how to achieve top marks in your ABRSM Music Theory Exam.

Music Theory is an integral part of any musician’s studies. Understanding the structures behind the music we play supports our practise and performance. Even if you don’t play an instrument understanding how music is constructed helps us to be a more informed listener.
