The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rainfall across northern Andhra Pradesh, as a cyclone brews in the region. Areas such as Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and Vizianagaram are expected to experience widespread rains. Meteorologist Kumar from the Visakhapatnam Cyclone Warning Center stated that the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions will continue to receive rains in the coming days. Northern Andhra districts, especially the newly formed ones, are expected to be the worst hit as the storm strengthens.
