More About Dr. Lok!

Dr. Lok, your friendly neighborhood doctor, grew up in a small Ohio town, where her mother, a chiropractor, showed her the healing connection between doctor and patient. This inspired her to pursue medicine at A.T. Still University, the premier osteopathic medical school, where she balanced conventional treatments with holistic approaches, including osteopathy, food as medicine, and energy healing.
After completing a family medicine residency in Maine, Dr. Lok realized the limitations of the healthcare system, which often prioritized insurance and pharmaceuticals over personal care. Despite this, she continues to prescribe medication when necessary but wanted to create a space where patients receive both conventional and holistic healing. That’s why she opened RiverRock Clinic—where patients feel heard and supported in their journey to health.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Lok enjoys Ohio-style shredded chicken sandwiches with her family, hiking in Arizona with her brother, and avoiding stepped-on toes at Tango events in North Carolina.
