Screen Print Color Separation Tutorial- Photoshop / PrintFab

At Film Direct we specialize in film output supplies and color separations. In this video we demonstrates how to separate colors in Photoshop and print film through the PrintFab Rip software.



Below is the Photoshop Tools we used during this video and where to access them. They may be in different spots on newer versions of Photoshop
From navigation bar or tool pallet
Color Selection Tool: Select-Color Range (top nav bar)
Eye dropper tool: from Tool pallet

Color Pallet: Window - Color (top nav bar)
Layers: Window-Layers (top nav bar)
Channels : Window - Channels (top nav bar)
Levels tool: Image- Adjustments-Levels (top nav bar)
Choke: Select-Modify-Expand or contract
