We all know that Muslim countries have very strict rules for women.
For example, many countries don't allow women to be educated.
But recently, everything's changed.
Women are getting education, getting jobs, working hard, and proving they are also equal.
Sometimes women are more mature than men.
Also, many Muslim countries have changed their laws against women.
Yesterday, the Saudi Arabian president announced that women have to choose their dress to wear, not the government.
This is very important news.
Because no government can force people to do what they want.
This new initiative might help Saudi Arabian women empower themselves more.
Also recently, in Pakistan, general elections were held, and there was a problem with choosing the government.
Because no party got a majority.
In Punjab-Pakistan, there was a woman who won the election, her name is Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
She is the daughter of three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
She contested the election as an independent candidate and won the election.
With other party support, she has taken over as the Chief Minister for Pakistan, Punjab.
This is the first time in Pakistani history that a woman has become a CM.
She is smart and a hard worker.
Even though she was the daughter of the former prime minister, she was also a woman.
She struggled a lot.
She is 50 years old.
After a long struggle, she is getting into power.
After taking the oath, Maryam Nawaz said that she was happy to take charge of the CM post.
She mentioned that every woman in Punjab is proud to see a woman Chief Minister.
Similarly, in the future, she assured that there would be many female leaders with the same oath-taking functions.
She is a role model for Pakistani women.
