There are two types of Noise Reduction in Luminar NEO, the standard type which allows you to pick luminance (grain type), or Colour noise which can be an issue at high ISO levels.

The most advanced type is their Noiseless AI, which analyses images and picks a suitable default level of noise reduction, using more sophisticated algorithms to try to remove noise without damaging the image. This can take some time (varies quite a bit from 10-20 seconds up to a minute or possibly longer for very large resolution images)

I take a close look at what Luminar has on offer for noise reduction processing, and demonstrate it's effects on some sample images. I've also picked some really badly degraded noisy photos to try to "fix", using Luminar's noise reduction processing.
