Big Fish on a Big Bucktail Jig!

Sometimes wind and current conditions force us to fish heavy to stay near the bottom. That's what happened near the end of this trip when a heavy bucktail produced one of my best catches of the season so far. We carry 2- to 6-ounce bucktails on these trips, but mostly fish 3 and 4 ounces in the 60-100' ocean depths.
