How to paint a Robin

Описание к видео How to paint a Robin

This week I’m painting a watercolour robin with abstract splash effects in the background… I know… very seasonal!

There were a few finishing touches which the camera wasn’t rolling for unfortunately, but I describe what I did at the end so it doesn’t miss too much 🤦‍♀️!

Equipment used: Bockingford watercolour paper (140lb), paper towels, containers for water (2- one to clean brushes, the other to add clean water), pencil, eraser, masking fluid, masking tape for border round edges, brushes (number 4 round, fine detail brush.)

Colours used: Windsor and Newton Cotman Watercolours

Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Yellow
Cadmium Red
Burnt Sienna
Sap Green
Cobalt Blue
Alizarin Crimson
Payne’s Grey

Windsor and Newton White Gouache
