Описание к видео Young Mothers Clubs - alternate model in delivering adolescent health responsive services.

Naguru Teenage Centre(NTC) worked with young people to design and implement the Young Mothers Club in , a peer-led initiative organized in response to the evolving needs of adolescent girls in Kampala.

Young Mothers’ Club was designed to accommodate first-time mothers and pregnant girls between the ages of 10 and 19 years.

The Objectives of the Club were to:
a) Empower young mothers to build positive relationships, improve their self-esteem, and acquire life skills through peer mentorship, adult role modelling, and structured activities.
b) Provide adolescent mothers with a safe and collaborative environment in which they can learn, grow and support each other through the many potential challenges of early motherhood.
C) Sharpen the entrepreneurship skills of young mothers and link them to livelihood programs aimed at building economic resilience to withstand future shocks.

Through this video we, share key success as achieved in the past 3 years of implementing this model.
