In this video I compare Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 vs TicWatch Pro 3 GPS.
The TicWatch Pro 3 GPS is very similar to the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS. The software and function are the same.
I will compare the build, design, and durability of the two.
I will also demonstrate how to access different functions on each watch.
I have had the TicWatch Pro 3 for over a year so I will also discuss it's long term durability.

Watch 5 made of Armor aluminum and display is sapphire glass
It is IP68, MIL-STD-810H compliant, 50m water resistant to 5ATM
Ticwatch Pro 3 made of stainless steel and plastic, Glass screen, not specified
It is IP68 but not MIL-STD-810G certified
Both have 1.4-inch screen with similar resolution. Brightness on each can get to 1000 nits
Watch 5 is compatible with standard 20mm bands. TicWatch Pro 3 is compatible with standard 22mm straps.
Watch 5 has Exynos W920, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB storage, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS with a 410 mAh, battery.
TicWatch Pro 3 has a Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset, 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS, and a 577mAh battery.
Both have HR, SPO2 measurements, stress monitoring.
Watch 5 has ECG and will measure blood pressure. It also has a Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis Sensor (BIA), which measures body composition, body fat percentage (BIA), skeletal muscle weight, and water percentage. It also has snore detection, fall detection, and a temperature sensor (not active yet but will be used to get more accurate sleep measurements).
TicWatch Pro 3 has a dual display with one of them being a very efficient LCD screen.
