Tales of Eternia: Farah vs. Cress [No Items/Hard/No Damage]

Описание к видео Tales of Eternia: Farah vs. Cress [No Items/Hard/No Damage]

I was grinding some usages on Farah because I wanted to be able to use the Mystic Artes. When I unlocked them, it made me want to do a solo.

Game Modifications
-Used debug mode to make Farah the only one in the party and to encounter Cless

Strategy:
For accessories, I'm using the Derris Emblem for accuracy and Faerie Ring so I don't have to worry about TP.

At the start of the fight, Cress will do one of two things. He will either: walk up and try to hit me or use Rising Phoenix. Whichever one he uses, I'm going to be using Eagle Rage. If he walks towards me, I use it towards him. If he uses Rising Phoenix, I can punish it by using Eagle Rage backwards. This is pretty much the pattern of the fight. If I happen to Eagle Rage past him while he uses Rising Phoenix, I should use Mirage and then run away because he's going to start his usual Sonic Blade spam after he's done using Rising Phoenix.

In the first half of the fight, I can afford to do extended combos with things like Swallow Dance. If I end a combo with Swallow Dance, jump, and then use Eagle Rage; I can extend my combo a bit in a pretty safe manner.

If you're stupid like me, you can go to the edge of his Sonic Blade range and then cast Deadly Force to try and use one of Farah's Mystic Artes: Flame Dance. It's really hard to pull this off because if he uses Spiral Destruction or Rising Phoenix, I will take damage no matter what. It's just RNG... but I did it for style points.

In the second half of the fight, Cress gains access to the Dimensional Strike arte. This is pretty annoying to dodge, so I opted to just not deal with at all by using Eagle Rage to engage from a distance and then knock him away with Chi to end the combo and I repeat this til he dies.

BGM: Stab the sword of justice from Star Ocean 2
