Owaisi vs Amit Shah: Shah advises Owaisi to "Listen First" during Lok Sabha discussion on NIA

During the discussion on the NIA Amendment bill BJP MP Satyapal Singh alleged that the then Hyderabad police commissioner was asked by a political leader of the state to change the course of investigation in a particular case otherwise he would be transferred. He said he got to know about it as he was Mumbai Police commissioner at that time. However, Asaduddin Owaisi, MP from Hyderabad took objection to his statement and asked that he should place all the record on the table of the house. At this point, Shah got up from his seat and said that treasury members did not disturb the opposition when they were addressing the house.
