PSA! DOR actually doesn’t stand for “depleted ovarian reserve” - it’s actually just “Diminished Ovarian Reserve” - and there’s a huge difference between those two things!

When patients get a DOR diagnosis, a lot of times the reaction goes:
1. Google “DOR”
2. Read one of the top results, that usually says something like “Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) is a condition in hich the ovary loses its normal reproductive potential, compromising fertility.”
3. Worry about what that means for their fertility future, and possibly panic a little.
That’s why, today I’m talking about all the ins and outs of a DOR diagnosis and what to do next.

I promise that DOR does not mean your dreams are out of reach or that there’s no hope left. It just means that your strategies might change a bit and that’s a good thing! That means you’re working with the most up-to-date information you have about your body and your unique needs.

I’ll be covering things like:
💙The real fact that we are ALL going to have DOR at some point in our lives
💙The BIG difference between the words “depleted” and “diminished”
💙Why DOR doesn’t automatically mean you need an egg donor
Supplements you can take to increase the potential of a natural pregnancy
💙Knowing what levels to check with your doctor after finding out about DOR
💙Cutting edge new studies and treatments that give patients even MORE options
💙FSH levels and what they mean for your egg retrieval possibilities (it’s not what you might think!)

Remember, when all is said and done, all it takes is one egg. If you’ve gotten news that you have a Diminished Ovarian Reserve, all is not lost!
