Between the subway, the bus network, the ferry network and the various commuter railways (like the Long Island Railroad) NYC easily has the best mass transit system in North America - however, most of these lines are focussed on taking people from the city's outer boroughs into Manhattan.

Travel between outer boroughs isn't quite as easy - but thats where the IBX comes in. It will convert an existing freight rail alignment into a Light Railway - to provide a passenger service linking up Brooklyn, Queens and maybe even the Bronx.

So, in this video I'm going to looking at what route the Interborough Express will take, what new interchanges it will unlock, and what this all will mean for transport around the New York metro area!.
