Vintage Barbie Sewing Patterns!

Back in the 60s my mom couldn’t afford Barbie clothing for her doll that my grandmother got her. Instead, my grandmother made her clothes!

Here are three outfits made by a talented seamstress I commissioned to remake one exact replica of a dress my mom had as a child and made by her mom, and two others I thought were cute in a different sewing kit.

The patterns cost 50c! A big difference from the 4$ a new outfit from Mattel, right?
