Cruise to Alaska-Day 4 Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier & Juneau

Day 4 of our group cruise with ‪@Donsfamilyvacations‬ started early, with a scenic and leisurely cruise to Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. Marked by majestic waterfalls, plunging valleys, and rugged mountains, Endicott Arm is a perfect glimpse of Alaska’s beauty. The long, narrow fjord in the Tongass National Forest culminates at the Dawes Glacier, an active tidewater glacier towering hundreds of feet high and half a mile across. Juneau, named in 1881 after gold prospector Joe Juneau, was incorporated in 1900 and designated the capital of Alaska in 1906.
