A British Royal Navy F‑35B stealth jet, valued at over $100 million, made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram on 14 June 2025, after encountering bad weather and low fuel, and was later grounded by a hydraulic failure. India’s IAF IACCS instantly detected and guided the jet using its advanced defense network. A 40‑member UK repair team and specialized tow vehicle are now in Kerala to move the jet into an MRO hangar. The UK remains grateful for India’s support, as parking fees mount.
