Hi, my name is Maria Rivera. I am 60 years old and I am a patient of Doctor Sean McCann. I was referred to his office by dear friends who had undergone successful surgeries. I went to see doctor McCann in September 2019, and I had, um, lumbar surgery with him. I have been suffering three previous surgeries that were very unsuccessful, and I was living in a lot of pain. I went to see him. He sent me for X-rays, and then he explained to me the kind of procedure he was going to perform. He did it in October 2019. I am pain free from my lumbar area and doctor McCann's office. Everybody knows your names. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door. Um, every time you call, they always ready there to answer your questions, to make appointments, to send you prescriptions, either in Puerto Rico. And it's, uh, every time I call, someone from his staff is always there, ready to answer my questions. Three months ago, I underwent my second surgery with Doctor Sean McCann. This time, it was a cervical surgery. He replaced the disc. I had been suffering from Cervicogenic headaches for a year and a half, and I was in a great deal of pain. I went back to him because I trusted his knowledge, his compassion, his way of explaining things, the way he performs the surgery. I'm a totally different person now. I don't drink any medications for pain I am. I enjoy many outdoor activities like walking long distance, doing my Pilates classes, my yoga. I've regained so many things that I want to do in life. It's like I'm starting a new chapter. I thank doctor McCann from the bottom of my heart for being so kind and so compassionate with me, and so understanding and having a lot of patience with me, because I was in a lot of pain and I didn't know what to do. And he always treated me with a lot of respect. And I am very, very grateful to him and his staff for helping me out through the entire process.
