Reading and Northern 2102: Thunder in the Poconos

Описание к видео Reading and Northern 2102: Thunder in the Poconos

The sound of thunder echos through the valleys of the Pocono mountains, but there's not a storm cloud in the sky. The thunder comes from the ground, more specifically, from the loudest steam locomotive East of the Mississippi river. Reading and Northern #2102 is alive and roaming the rails of the RBMN's vast system of railroad once again in 2024. This time, she makes her way North of the Nesquehoning wye for the first time ever. Departing from the brand new Nesquehoning station campus, the 2102 makes a left turn and charges into the Lehigh Gorge. Continuing onto White Haven, Mountain Top, and Pittston. Everyone had theorized that the 2102 would make a trip to Pittston, but never did anyone think she would continue past, and make the 25 mile trek along the Susquehanna River to Tunkhannok. 2102 puts on an absolute fantastic show, as she climbs the taxing grades of the Ex-Lehigh Valley Lehigh line. Passing through some of the most beautiful scenery in the state of Pennsylvania. Lets follow the 2102, as she charges to the home of the art deco "Dietrich Theatre"
