The Skakavac waterfall is located north of Sarajevo, and is 12 km from the city center. The waterfall is 98 m high. Although it does not have a large flow of water, it is characterized by exceptional beauty, especially in winter when its waterfall freezes the ice forming fantastic scenes.

The Skakavac waterfall originates from the stream of the same name, which springs from below the peak of Bukovik (1532 m), and flows into the Perački potok. It is a geomorphological monument of nature. The area of ​​the protected area is 1430.7 ha. It is located on the Ozren mountain.

Vodopad Skakavac se nalazi sjeverno od Sarajeva, i udaljen je 12 km od centra grada. Vodopad je visok 98 m. Iako nema veliki protok vode odlikuje se izuzetnom ljepotom, naročito zimi kada njegov slap okuje led oblikujući fantastične prizore.

Vodopad Skakavac nastaje od istoimenog potoka koji izvire ispod vrha Bukovik (1532 m), a ulijeva se u Perački potok. Geomorfološki je spomenik prirode. Površina zaštićenog područja iznosi 1430,7 ha.Nalazi se na planini Ozrenu.
