Starting with acrylic black, use a half a pee of paint to a little water. Make a creamy mixture , then apply a the black miix to the top of the head and to the bib of the bird. Make sure the brush is not fully loaded so that the paint doesn't run out of control. Then mix paynes grey with three quarters of a paint tray cup of water, mix well. Then apply several washes to the mantle, wings ,tail and underside of tail.
