.22 Long Rifle vs .22 Magnum. Its easy to know which one won. The .22 magnum obviously packed a much bigger punch and would have obliterated an animal instantly and ethically as to where the .22 Long rifle it would have taken 5 more shots to kill the animal ethically. Both bullets will still completely kill an animal but let's just say the .22 mag does a much better job. The rifle I was using to shoot these bullets out of was actually a Heritage .22 cal rough rider revolver action western style rifle. I highly recommend a purchase on this firearm as you can switch out cylinders and it is perfect for varmint hunting and it looks like something you'd see out of a western movie.
