Azad, Humayun (1947-2004) Artist, author, story-teller, specialist, etymologist. He was conceived in Rarhikhal of Bikrampur on 28 April 1947. His dad Abdur Rashid was a teacher, mother Jobeda Khatun was a housewife. His unique name was Humayun Kabir. He acknowledged the name Humayun Azad on 28 September in 1988 by the judge of Narayanganj area.

Humayun Azad passed the optional examination from Sir Jagadish Chandra Basu Establishment in 1962, higher auxiliary examination from Dhaka School in 1964, BSc Respects and Mama in Bangla writing from Dhaka College in 1967 and 1968 separately and Ph.D. in etymology from Edinburgh College in 1976. Humayun Azad began his expert profession in 1969 by joining the Chittagong School. Afterward, he joined Chittagong College as an Instructor on 11 February 1970 and as Teacher of Jahangirnagar College in 1972. He was named as Partner Educator of Bangla division under Dhaka College on 1 November 1978 and was elevated to the rank of teacher in 1986
