ABOUT KURT JENKINS:
A Polymath Artist of film, music, and live performance, Kurt Jenkins has gained a kaleidoscope of knowledge during his 20 years in the entertainment industry. Early in his career he was mentored by the southern mystic, Carlo Tinon. Where, after a grueling apprenticeship, he inherited the secrets of “the method.” Shortly after. In 2012. Kurt landed the title role in the international tour of “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story.” Then, from 2013 to 2018, Kurt starred as Carl Perkins in the rockabilly musical, “Million Dollar Quartet.” First in the Chicago production. Then on the cruise ship, Norwegian Getaway. Where it was frequently rated as the best show in the fleet. In 2019, Jenkins wrote, directed and scored the short film, “Personal Best.” Which premiered at the New Filmmakers NY Film Festival. In 2021 Jenkins released a collection of original songs, titled “Jumps To Flight.” And directed the music video for his song, "Let Me Get Lost." Jenkins has also collaborated as a creative director with Soho House, The Birmingham Arts & Music Festival, and Maybe Sunday Collective. Kurt lives in Birmingham, AL.
