DUSTCRETE PROJECT~ part 1

We are building a bodega, storage room with sawdust.
Few years ago I was attending a conference of eco building technologies where I have heard about hempcrete first time in my life. This technology impressed me so much that I wanted to try it. However, here in Mexico, it’s a challenge to get hemp, so we started to search for similar components; and found out that sawdust can be used the same way. Super great as sawdust ya get for free from any carpenter.
Experiment can start :) we learn by trying, testing and mistakes. In this part 1 video we have built the wooden frame and dustcrete walls, took us 2 weeks as we didn’t work every day. Next chapter is about plastering the walls…
