The Yamaha XTZ250 Ténéré has a 21-hp air-cooled single-cylinder engine, with 21 inch front and 18 inch rear wheels, with suspension travel of 9.4 inch in front and 7.8 inch in back.
Despite being an excellent all-around performer, this "Baby Ténéré" has never had the aggressive personality or rally-bred attitude of its larger siblings, the Ténéré 700 and XT1200Z Super Ténéré.
