The NBA 2K14 Retro Series is back with another classic game, namely the showdown between the Chicago Bulls and Seattle Supersonics in Game 3 of the 1996 NBA Finals! Chicago took care of business at home, and looked to take a commanding 3-0 series lead as the series shifted to Seattle. Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and the rest of the Bulls knew that 72-10 wouldn't mean a thing without a ring, so they weren't about to let Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, and the Supersonics stand in the way of destiny.

The NBA 2K14 Retro Series is a celebration of NBA history, featuring classic matchups and famous games being re-played with the PlayStation 4 version of NBA 2K14. Post-production effects and an era-specific commercial at the half are intended to evoke a feeling of finding an old game on VHS or DVD, and watching an original broadcast on a then-contemporary TV. Games are played with both the original classic teams, and makeshift classic teams created through the game's limited roster editing.
