Описание к видео Rooted in Resilience: Indigenous Women Entrepreneurs Leading with Tradition

Long before “business as a force for good” became a movement, Indigenous women were already leading it.

Rooted in Resilience is a powerful short documentary that honors four Indigenous women entrepreneurs whose work reflects generations of wisdom, care, and connection — the very principles that have shaped what we now know as the B Corp movement.

Through their stories, we witness how doing business with heart and intention can restore balance to both people and planet:

Patrice Mousseau, founder of Satya Organics (BC, Canada), built her clean skincare company on transparency and healing — proving that profit and purpose can coexist beautifully.

Lesley Kabotie, co-founder of Indigenous Collaboration (Crow Nation, Montana), helps Indigenous communities reclaim and redefine what equitable business looks like, rooted in sovereignty and shared prosperity.

Annie Korver, founder of Rise Consulting (BC, Canada), guides organizations in building meaningful relationships with Indigenous Peoples — bridging business and reconciliation through respect and reciprocity.

Andréanne Mulaire Dandeneau, founder of Anne Mulaire (Winnipeg, Canada), designs sustainable fashion inspired by her Anishinaabe and French Métis heritage, honoring the earth with every stitch.

Together, their stories remind us that sustainability is not a trend — it’s a tradition. When we make space for diverse cultures, wisdom, and worldviews, we move closer to a future where business truly serves humanity and the planet.

Rooted in Resilience invites us to remember where ethical business began — and to envision what’s possible when we continue that legacy, together.
