This video is one that I had made back in June of 2022, when I installed smoked colored sequential LED front and rear turn signals to my 2013 F150 FX4. The rear facing led turn signal had somewhat failed within a couple of years, after I getting the truck. I initially priced out having dealer change it but warned that the mirrors break, while trying to remove them. With that, I never messed with it, until June of 2022. I had seen the sequential LED lights, and wanted that appearance/ effect, not only for coolness, but for safety factor, so I watched a couple of you tube videos, and did it myself. Not a difficult task, even the mirror came off easy. 2013, F150s, came with only reflectors in that position, front facing. The issue, was the original front facing ones I bought, listed that they would fit the mirror covering/housing, 2013F150, but the pig tail was too short. I tried to lengthen pig tail, but wires are so dang small, it did not work after I lengthened them. I was this is BS, and sent them back. I did more searching, and found the correct ones., by RUXIFEY, these were a switchback style. With parking lights should have a white LED driving light. (Tough thing here, is getting 12v power source, cannot jump the fuses in panel, and adapters will not fit in panel, so I never hooked up the front white white LED switchback option) These were plug, and play, and harness plugged right into my rear facing sequential LED signal lights. The rear facing signal lights had no issues with fitment. I had made a complete video of the left front, but must deleted the installation of the front facing signal light. video, so just added the procedure to install from the right sided. Just thought you guys may like these for your truck. I will say, I also added front parking lights, that were LED, I had bought tail lights, that were LED also, but installing anything more LED, caused HYPERflash. This is from less resistance with LED bulbs. You can add resistors, and try and reduce this but I not bothering. Here are the parts numbers.
