Reviewing the best Samsung Galaxy smartphones for Summer 2025, including the S25 Ultra and Edge, as well as those Samsung Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 foldable phones. I also test out my top favourite mid-range Galaxy mobiles, including the Galaxy A56 5G down to the budget friendly A36.

Now, no matter your choice of smartphone, you'll get a similar OneUI 7 experience - or OneUI 8 with the latest foldable models. However, some features including Samsung DeX and the most complex AI tools are only available on premium models like the Galaxy S25, Edge & Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The camera hardware varies a lot, even between those top models like the Samsung S25 Ultra and those foldable phones. Gaming is certainly best reserved for the more expensive smartphones, as the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and more budget models struggle with stuff like Wuthering Waves. As for the S25 Edge, that's overpriced folly - while the Samsung Flip 7 FE isn't as great value as it might seem.
