Svartpilen 401 Chamber Delete Install - Competition Werkes

Here's my step by step guide to installed the Competition Werkes Chamber Delete on a Svartpilen 401. This is similar to a mid-pipe delete, but the cats are both retained, so you won't get in trouble about them, while also getting a bit more volume from your exhaust system.

I've retained the stock muffler, however you can pair this with a slip-on system, if your budget stretches that far. I went with the chamber delete as, for $250 AUD, it was the best value option I could find, with many slip-on mufflers demanding $800-1000 AUD these days.

Overall this is a fairly easy install as far as tools. The main challenge is getting the collector out due to clearance, including a very tightly fitted mounting rod with tightening bolts on either end. This effectively needs to be forced out from between the two mounting points, and is reused in the installation of the chamber delete, but is easier to get back into place.
