Inihayag ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang planong imbestigasyon ng Kamara sa umano’y naging kasunduan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa China kaugnay ng isyu sa West Philippine Sea.

Ayon kay Romualdez, nais nilang malinawan ang nasabing “gentleman’s agreement” at kung ano ang naging epekto nito sa soberanya ng Pilipinas.
