"Aflits are an open original species. They are an evolutionary marvel, in that they defy logic: they are a mix of dodo bird and very very dumb dog. While not a hybrid, they exhibit birdlike qualities and doglike bone structure. They have a row of canine teeth hidden behind unique twin- tip beaks and can squawk, bark, or a mix of the two. They are fantastically dumb. They do however have 3 distinct genders: male, female, and variant. Variants are a rare genetic occurance where they either exhibit no genitals, multiple, or variants that are atypical from cisgendered markers. Aflits are typically mainly white or black, with a hunting stripe In a dominant color that matches their "socks". Some Aflits come in rare variations of color. Those can be manually approved by myself directly but are classified 'rare color' aflits and are not standard. Standard Aflits use a color palette of only 5 colors. Rares are not held to that restriction."
