Stolen phones are sometimes used for small crimes to terrorism. But the government has put a powerful tool to stop it in everyone's hands. Its name is CEIR. First, you have to visit Ceir.gov.in, click on CEIR SERVICES, and select Block Stolen or Lost Mobile. Now the number of the stolen phone, the IMEI number, has to be entered in this form. Which you can get from both, phone box or the bill. After these basic details, like when and where it went missing and in whose name the mobile was, Submit by entering their mobile number or email ID. And now that someone has put a new SIM in that phone, that phone will not work. Moreover, he will also alert the police. Now the second advantage of this portal is knowing your mobile app! If you are going to use your phone, then download this app first. And now, by dialling *#06#, take out the IMEI number of the phone you want to take and fill it in KYM AAP. If that phone is stolen by chance, then it will be blacklisted in the KYM app, and you will be saved from taking the stolen phone.


चोरी के फोन का इस्तेमाल कभी-कभी छोटे अपराधों से लेकर आतंकवाद तक के लिए किया जाता है। लेकिन सरकार ने इसे रोकने के लिए एक शक्तिशाली उपकरण सबके हाथ में दे दिया है। इसका नाम सीईआईआर है। सबसे पहले, आपको Ceir.gov.in पर जाना होगा, CEIR Services पर क्लिक करना होगा, और Block Stolen or Lost Mobile को चुनना होगा। अब इस फॉर्म में चोरी हुए फोन का नंबर, IMEI नंबर डालना होगा। जिसे आप फोन बॉक्स या बिल दोनों से प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। इन बेसिक डिटेल्स के बाद जैसे कब और कहां गायब हुआ और मोबाइल किसके नाम पर था, उनका मोबाइल नंबर या ईमेल आईडी डालकर सबमिट करें। और अब जबकि उस फोन में किसी ने नया सिम लगा दिया है तो वह फोन काम नहीं करेगा। साथ ही वह पुलिस को भी अलर्ट करेगा। अब इस पोर्टल का दूसरा फायदा आपके मोबाइल एप को जान रहा है ! अगर आप अपना फोन इस्तेमाल करने जा रहे हैं तो सबसे पहले इस ऐप को डाउनलोड करें। और अब *#06# डायल करके आप जिस फोन को लेना चाहते हैं उसका IMEI नंबर निकाल कर KYM AAP में भर दें। अगर वह फोन संयोग से चोरी हो जाता है तो उसे KYM ऐप में ब्लैक लिस्ट कर दिया जाएगा और आप चोरी हुए फोन को लेने से बच जाएंगे।
