Risheehat - an offbeat mountain village near Darjeeling beside tea gardens.
There are some beautiful tea gardens near Darjeeling, producing exotic tea. One of those is Risheehat Tea Estate. Just above the tea garden there is a Nepali mountain village, named Risheehat. The road from Ghum Railway Station goes past the forestes and reaches Risheehat Tea Garden. Just 500m before reaching the village, a new Homestay has come up, on the slopes of mountain.
