Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder

Описание к видео Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder

Recorded on April 16, 2020

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with several decades of scientific support. Over time, ABA has been implemented in different ways, including newer methods using naturalistic and
developmentally based interventions, which have emerged as effective strategies for teaching skills to young children with ASD. This presentation will describe core principles of these Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions and will compare and
contrast different treatment models that fall under this umbrella term, such as Pivotal Response Teaching (PRT) and the Early Start Denver Model (EDSM).
