UP 844 in SW Idaho with Slippage, Cab & Drone Views

Описание к видео UP 844 in SW Idaho with Slippage, Cab & Drone Views

This video has just about everything a steam lover could want: a blow down, driver slippage, closeup of slow moving drivers, cab view and drone footage. I even caught Ed Dickens mysteriously leaning way out of the cab and looking straight down as 844 was backing into Nampa. I didn't know I had that until I viewed the stills a few days later. I took the still just after I stopped the video. I used that still in the thumbnail and incerted into the video.
2024 UPDATE: At the Ogden Union Station on July 21, 2024, I was at the right place at the right time. I asked Ed about this. He said, "I don't know. I do it a lot though". (Strange, I've never noticed him doing that in all the other hours watching him on YouTube videos.) (I suspect it's to stretch lower back muscles. I do that too on occasion. Strangely enough, Ed is likely the only person in the world who can lean out of a class 1 moving locomotive to do so.)
To accomplish all the above, this video was imaged, independently, by three people, listed at the end. The only bummer was the #$@% wind. The area around Genns Ferry, ID is a natural wind tunnel. I purchased a wind suppressor soon after this video was taken...for what good it did for this video.
