Tech Tip Tuesday: Polish/Cleaning Your Drums

For so many drummers, the “chore” of cleaning and whipping down your drums is so mundane and boring.

However, this small task can be highly beneficial long-term for the longevity of the drum's playability.

No matter how often or little you play your drums, there is always a build-up of dirt or dust that collects on the shell.

For the keep up of my snare drums and drums, I always love using the Music Nomad Drum Detailer.

This spray brings the shine back into the shell's finish and polishes the hardware like new.

It also leaves a slight protective coat that keeps the derby off a bit longer.

There are other options on the market, but I have found that this keeps the drums I have looks refreshed every time.

Cleaning our drums is only one aspect To ensure we have them much longer than just a couple of years.

It’s always worth trying out and seeing how much of a benefit it can be to take care of your drums this way.
