Do you both enjoy and love where you work? When things at work are easy, you naturally enjoy your job. But when you run into trouble or tasks are difficult, you may have to love your way through your work. The challenges you overcome and the problems you solve become your greatest source of pride. Loving what you do is all about being a dedicated employee – going above and beyond what’s expected, giving it your all, and understanding the true purpose of your work.

What about your coworkers? You don’t have to like the people you work with, but you have to love them. A dedicated employee treats fellow employees with dignity and respect, regardless of differing world views. There is one deal-breaker: Your coworkers must also love your customers and be committed to the business. Just how successfully a business operates depends upon the dedication level of every employee.

Finally, it’s important to love the people who ultimately benefit from your work. Your customers choose you over your competition; they give you their time and money. You show that you love your customers by rewarding their loyalty. You solve their problems with your service, bring them joy with your products, and validate their wisdom in doing business with you.
