Sudha Murty (born 19 August 1950) is a Padma Shri awardee, Indian Engineering teacher, Kannada, Marathi and English author as well as a Social worker. She is also the Chairperson of the Infosys Foundation. She is married to the co-founder of Infosys, N. R. Narayana Murthy.

She is prolific writer in English and Kannada. She has written novels, technical books, travelogues, collections of short stories, and non fictional pieces and many books for children. Her books have been translated into all the major Indian languages.
Sudha murty was the recipient of the R.K. Narayan Award for literature and the Padma Shri in 2006, and the Attimabbe Award from the government of Karnataka for excellence in Kannada literature in 2011.

Sudha Murty began her professional career in computer science and engineering. She is the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation and a member of the public health care initiatives of the Gates Foundation. She has founded several orphanages, participated in rural development efforts, supported the movement to provide all Karnataka government schools with computer and library facilities, and established 'Murty Classical Library of India' at Harvard University.

OUR ENDEVOUR-

Our vision for launching this channel is to provide entertainment to kids with minimal screen time. These stories can be played while they are doing some activity, playing or going to bed. We have purposely not included any animation so that children can build their imagination and get into habit of listening and subsequently reading books. We urge you all to make a playlist of these stories and play them to your kids. These stories will not only keep kids engaged but also imbibe good values .
With online classes a new norm, screen time for kids has increased considerably. Kahani Didi endeavours to solve this issue by presenting stories in audio format on most widely used platform-YouTube. We have also tried to use easy to understand language without using any difficult words. So we may use some English words in between just to make narration interesting for kids.
