Tangerine Dream - Love On A Real Train (Re-Engineered) / Poland - Remixed Cover Version

This cover version is a 're-imagining' and contains of two of my favourite tracks from one of the best periods in Tangerine Dream's recording history (1979 - 1983: The Froese/Franke/Schmoling years). I wanted to learn from deconstructing the original compositions and expand upon these original tracks.
I started this in 2016, then shelved it, and finally got around to completing it during October and November 2019. Once again, I spent far too many days/weeks working on this than I really should have.
The Arrangement:
This 12 minute track is a three part piece that combines my covers of TD's 'Love On A Real Train' (from their 1982 'Risky Business' soundtrack) with my cover of their other, very similar, track 'Poland' (Excerpt 1) from 1983. Both 112BPM.

The intro aside, I have kept the arrangement of the first part, and most of the third part the same as the original tracks (there is really no need to change them after all).

The second part is an improvised transition piece between these two tracks that combines elements from both with some extra strings, atmos, percussion and improvised lead. The opening intro and ending of the entire track are also new.
The Sounds:
I have tried to match the original synth sounds, processing and sequencing as close as I could for the two original parts 1 and 3 (as these are two of my favourite TD tracks after all). This was the most time consuming part.
Digital Samples:
I used a Mellotron-esque choir and for each of the percussion sounds, samples from the Roland TR-808 and CR-78.
Feedback:
I am never really 100% happy with the finished results, but I am slowly learning that sometimes you just have to draw a line under some projects and move on to the next. It's the mixing, frequencies and mastering side where my knowledge (and probably my aging ears) needs some constructive feedback (positive or negative). i.e. too much high-end / low-end?, too cluttered?, this or that Instrument needs work, etc.)
