Founded in 2006 by Antoinette “Toni” Temporiti, MPA has been providing microfinancing loans to villages in parts of Sub-Saharan Africa to provide a hand up not a hand out. This microloan concept was pioneered by economist Muhammad Yunus. Creating self-sufficiency leads to confidence and a restoration of dignity. Microfinancing helps to eliminate extreme poverty. These loans are used to create small business loans and empower Africans to become more self-sufficient to build their families and communities.
