Part 2 - Jackhammering off to the side -

This is a continuation of my previous video after I knocked over the tripod and the camera.
As I said before, this just shows me taking a quick stab off to the side to investigate a colorful spot. This isn’t “proper” opal mining.
The level shown in this video isn’t the main level in this area and is lower than what is usually found. Most tunnels are dug so that the opal level is higher, maybe around neck or head height. This makes digging more efficient. It’s usually easier to remove the clay that’s under the level than the ironstone that’s above the level.
