The National Capital Region (NCR), also known as Metro Manila, is the political, economic, and cultural hub of the Philippines. It is located on the western part of Luzon, bordered by the provinces of Bulacan to the north, Cavite to the south, Laguna to the southeast, and Rizal to the east. NCR encompasses 16 cities, including Makati, Quezon City, Manila, Taguig, and Pasig, making it the most populous region in the country.
