The Most Important Walking Bass Line Practice (You DON'T Do!)

Описание к видео The Most Important Walking Bass Line Practice (You DON'T Do!)

Today we’re going to look at some walking bass, specifically a bass line over the popular jazz chord progression Sweet Georgia Brown.
Walking bass instruction usually focuses on the improvisation side of playing. But it's also important to learn pre-written lines.
This walking bass line is taken from the new book release "Walk That Bass" from Talkingbass which features 30 pre composed walking lines over popular tunes for you to learn and study.
The book also features a complete section devoted to functional harmony, scales, chord tones and vocabulary so you’ll have lots of theory knowledge to add to your walking bass practice.
Today's video is taken from the accompanying video course in which I take you through the learning of a bass line moving through multiple fretboard positions.
