LIN means stone and BETOM means one upon the another. Apatani tribe of Arunachal Pradesh as traders travelled from foothills towards hillsides in ancient period. During their journey they rest in this place at Maro village of Maro circle of upper subansiri district Arunachal Pradesh. It is believed that they had hidden a local ornaments called Ripa and kept this three stone one upon the other. Once the ancestors of Yigam clansman tried to dig this to get the ornaments but there was very heavy rainstorm, thunder and lightning. And it was found a huge snake guarding the stone..
