On the occasion of 20 years of ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’, presenting a nostalgic conversation between the director Aditya Dutt & our Bollywood spy RJ Divya Solgama. Aditya started the chat by talking about how he decided to direct the film at the age of 21. He spoke about getting guidance from his grandfather the legendary Anand Bakshi followed by being mentored by Mahesh Bhatt & Vikram Bhatt. He spoke about how ‘’Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ title was like a tribute to Anand Bakshi followed by the entire decision of keeping Himesh Reshammiya’s voice as a singer for the title song. He also spoke about how the soundtrack of ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ became a huge hit. Aditya boldly spoke about adding romance, sex & passion in the video of ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ followed by shooting all the love making scenes without any intimacy coordinators. He shared his views over Tanushree Dutt’s comment over brotherly feelings for Emraan Hashmi while shooting for the romantic songs in the film. He also shared his views over Emraan Hashmi’s comment over romancing on ‘Aashiq Banaya Apne’ song. Aditya spoke about how he convinced Sonu Sood for the film followed by the contribution of Shreya Ghoshal’s voice in the title song. Aditya also spoke about shooting ‘Aap Ki Kashish’ in London in totally different style followed by adding white dresses in ‘Dillagi Main Jo’ song. He also remembered KK and his contribution in ‘Dilnashin Dilnashin’ song along with the reason for not having ‘Aa Karib Aa’ in the soundtrack of the film.
