Come to COSTCO with me AND unpack my SHOPPING HAUL at home!

My brother has a Costco membership and treated me to a little Costco lunch and day out browsing the shelves of this wholesale superstore in Croydon.

We start off at home in my kitchen and make a matcha together before getting dressed and heading to grab the bus to Croydon with my brother.

Once at Costco, we beeline over to the food area where I get a slice of 5 cheese pizza and he has a hot dog. I also got a Tango because it reminds me of my childhood, although I only got half a cup because I brought a water bottle as well.

Once we finished lunch, we headed to the front of the store which had electronics like headphones, TVs, cameras, and security doorbells. After contemplating getting some headphones, we move onto kitchen appliances like Ninja Foodi, Dyson fans, air fryers, grills and then make our way to the office section.

My brother and I try out all the office chairs, confirming which is comfiest (turns out we couldn’t find the actual stock of it). We grab some tape for parcels and then head over to the fresh food area.

In the fresh food area, I picked up some sweet white onions, heirloom tomatoes from Spain, and octopus legs. We weave around to the household goods section to grab some bin bags, drain cleaner and then walk over to the frozen aisles.

In the frozen aisles, I grab some frozen shell-on, tail-on king prawns. I was so excited to find these as they are rare here in the UK - I never seem to find them with the whole shell on.

From the frozen section, we end up in the long-life foods and I pick up some tins of tuna from the brand Ortiz that I have wanted to get for ages. They are great value for money! My brother picks up some peanut butter.

We make our way into the body care area and I pick up a lot of Sanex as it’s my go-to body wash and great to have extra.

Lastly, we go look in the middle with the books, clothes and sweets. My brother got some socks but I couldn’t find any PJs that I liked the pattern on, so we made our way around to the check-out.

Top tip from my brother is to find someone who is buying stuff in bulk as they don’t scan every individual item, so once we found a line that looked good, we checked out quickly and then got the bus back to the train station. I’d probably take a car, or Uber if you plan on getting heavy items as my shoulders were a bit sore and I was pretty tired when we got home.

After scrolling on my phone for about an hour, I finally unloaded everything properly and run through all the items I got in a Costco haul!

I can’t wait to go back another time with my brother and will definitely get the hot dog next time and the mango smoothie.
