Recorded about 1910 for the Edison wax Amberol series in the blue box, and re-relased in 1912 on the new Blue Amberol celluloid format, we have the Ira D. Sankey hymn Take 1 mold #5. The song was written in 1874. This one is in very nice, almost new condition, and crisp and clear from a directly recorded master. It has no instrumental accompaniment, voices only. 112 years old. Enjoy a nice hymn!
